Bale and femicide: interpretation gestures on the Rafaella case — between love and hatred

Abstract

In this article, we seek to understand the speech in the mid of the murder of the female military police Rafaella. To that end, I find in the analysis of discursities arising from that crime, in which a woman is killed by her ex-husband, because it calls into question the relationship between the bale and the feminicide. Our focus is on dyscursive practices that move discrimination and intolerance to each other depending on the occupation of the victim and their political choices. This is a discourse that reveals conflicting sentiment effects. In a reading anchored in the analysis of speech (AD) affiliated to Michel Pêcheux, we observe the hate speech that emerges from the reports analysed and indicates a certain process of rejection and dismissal of the female police force, which has a cascading effect. There are speeches that reveal prejudice to the profession, hatred to those who join the ideas defended by the current president and who finally silence and even justify murder qualified by femicide, a common crime based on women’s detentions from patriarchy.
