Usporedno s pojavom tehnologije i porasta broja stanovnika javlja se problem destrukcije okoliša. Linearno gospodarstvo koje dominira od početka industrijske revolucije ne ostavlja lagan zadatak za transformaciju prema boljem modelu. Takva radikalna promjena podrazumijeva veliku promjenu odnosa prema proizvodnji i potrošnji, koje svojom promjenom mogu imati značajan pozitivan utjecaj na gospodarstvo, okoliš i društvo. To zahtijeva razvijanje dubinskog znanja o konceptu cirkularne ekonomije. U radu se razmatra proces prema cirkularnom gospodarstvu s ciljem poboljšanja razumijevanja modela cirkularne ekonomije kao i njezinih procesa i učinaka. Na temelju ovog rada nastoji se raščlaniti djelovanje cirkularne ekonomije za bolje razumijevanje koje ostavlja na pojedine sektore poslovanja. Ovaj rad nam sugerira postojanje određenih ograničenja ili neograničenja društvenog djelovanja na cirkularno gospodarstvo. Također, se ističe pozicija Hrvatske i njezin put kroz tranziciju. ; Along with the emergence of technology and population growth, there is a problem of environmental destruction. The linear economy that has been dominating since the beginning of the industry leaves no light task for transformation to a better model. Such a radical change implies a big change in the relationship between production and consumption that can have a significant positive impact on the economy, the environment and society with its changes. It requires the development of profound knowledge of the concept of circular economics. The paper deals with the process of circular economy with the aim of improving the understanding of the circular economics model as well as its dimensions and effects. Based on this paper, the aim is to distinguish the activities of circular economies for a better understanding of certain sectors of business. This paper suggests the existence of certain limitations or advantages of the social activity of the circular economy. Also, the position of Croatia and its path of transition is emphasized.
